Basic Skills Necessary:
- This pattern requires you to be able to work in rows and rounds.
- Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, single crochet, single crochet 2 together (decrease), double crochet and treble crochet.
- Knowledge of working with ruffle yarn is an asset, but not necessary; many photos are given for using the ruffle yarn to add the edging ruffle.
Gauge:
With worsted weight yarn: 9 double crochet X 4 double crochet rows = 3 inches square (the gauge is not important)Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Length: without ruffle: 66 inches; with ruffle: 70 inches
- Width (at widest point): without ruffle: 7 inches; with ruffle: 9 inches

- Red Heart Super Saver worsted weight yarn (7oz/198g - 364yds/333m per ball): o245 yds #376/ Burgundy
- Crochet hook size J/10-6.00mm (for worsted weight yarn.
- Yarn needle (for working in ends)
